“Don’t give birth without a doula!! Lea Ann from Newborn Mother Care was a huge part in my support system when I gave birth to my last 2 children. I highly recommend her! She also has taken the best care of us in the postpartum period. She brings food and has information on all my postpartum questions and concerns. Here’s a little review of some of the food she has brought so far. The veggie stew is so hearty and filling and I love the taste of turmeric! I also love the hearty sausage stew. It’s one of my favorites! I’ve been eating it for lunch every day for a week and never get tired of it! As a mother of 3 now it is so nice to have meals already prepared that I can just warm up. Lastly, the basil and beef strips congee was a home run! The congee is like a warm hug in your postpartum tummy and the beef was so savory. Thank you so much for making sure this postpartum Mama is nourishing her body well”. ~Angela
Expert care for the mother and newborn.
The transition into motherhood takes knowledge, support, and being perfectly open, it takes an extra helping. hand.
This is a time to nourish your body and soul. Everyone’s postpartum care looks different. Having time to take a shower or soak in a soothing herbal bath with a much-needed nap can feel like a gift right after birth. But that’s just it, it shouldn’t be a gift. Taking care of yourself should not be something you’re hoping for. Nor should it be a hopeful “I wish I could soak in the tub today, and just have time to eat today” thought. You are the priority. Give your body time to heal. Newborn Mother Care focuses on whole-body support for your mental and physical well-being with LOVE.
We also cater to and provide perinatal support to high-risk mothers. Please reach out.
