Newborn Mother Care

Instilling Strength and Confidence

Educator         Advocate        Mentor        Doula

So glad you’re here and reading more about myself and Newborn Mother Care. I provide birth and postpartum care and support to families as well as providing professional and family centered Evidence Based Birth® Services.

I am a mother, grandmother, nutrition enthusiast, foodie, educator, doula, researcher, advocate, coach and empowerment builder. I am a resource.

I was one of the first circle of 'pioneer doulas' in San Antonio during 1999. As a seasoned birth and postpartum doula I mother the mother, applying many years of experience in caring for the new mother and newborn.

As an educator it is my responsibility to provide the women and families I work with access to evidence-based information, unbiased references, and access to a broad variety of information. I will provide you with evidence-based information, data, and research.

My years of experience ensure that you will be receiving the best of care. I collaborate with a team of professionals within NBMC who have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have enjoyed supporting families for over 19 years and continue to build relationships within the international birth and postpartum community. My love for mamma and baby ensures you will receive love and support during and after the birth of your baby. As a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist I have supported over 1000 newborns with their first breastfeeding experience in the hospital setting, as well as supporting families in the NICU. Newborn Mother Care supports all families whether breast milk feeding or formula feeding their newborn.

I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, I hold a Texas Professional Food Handlers License, a Newborn Mothers Collective Postpartum Trained Doula, a LAMAZE Certified Childbirth Educator, a DONA trained birth doula, a Certified HUG Teacher and an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. As an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor I offer workshops to parents as well as birth professionals.

When I am not attending clients I am nurturing my passion and running a small farm south of San Antonio where I live with a herd of rescued mini horses who all have special needs. I enjoy being in the garden with herbs and native plants, aromatherapy and currently continuing my professional education in aromatherapy and herbal studies.  I look forward to speaking with you, feel free to text or call at 210-842-7157, email: [email protected]
